Our Guiding Principles Are:
  • To support organizations in fulfilling the full potential of their volunteer resources.
  • To be a member-driven organization dedicated to building a community with opportunities for participation, networking, professional development and career enhancement both within NJAVA and in the volunteer resources management field.
  • To advance the profession by educating executives and leadership volunteers about volunteer resources management and engaging the government, education, and corporate sectors.
  • To maintain contact and serve as the link between our membership and other local, national, and international volunteer resources management related organizations.
  • To advocate for the importance of volunteers and volunteerism.
